Product Introduction:
A physical mixture of spherical cast tungsten carbide (QZWC) and nickel-based alloy powder, dark gray spherical-like powder.
The spherical cast tungsten carbide has high hardness with HV0.1 reaching 2700, and good wear resistance; the spherical-like nickel-based alloy powder has good wetting properties with cast tungsten carbide.
Usage Effect: The PTA overlay layer has high hardness, good wear resistance, good fluidity, fast welding speed, uniform weld layer, low porosity, and excellent impact resistance.
The hardness of the PTA overlay layer can reach HRC 62-67, and the wear resistance is 3-10 times that of conventional products, and the service life is 3-5 times that of conventional products.
Application Fields:
It can be welded onto low-carbon steel, medium-carbon steel, low-alloy steel, and cast steel parts, used for manufacturing and repairing vulnerable parts that endure low, medium, and high levels of impact and severe abrasive wear.
Typical applications include welding and repairing of equipment such as mining excavation, oil drilling, mechanical processing, and shielded cutting tools.
