High Purity Tungsten Carbide Powder
Tungsten carbide powder (WC) is the main raw material for the production of cemented carbide, chemical type WC. Tungsten carbide powder is a black hexagonal crystal with a metallic luster and a hardness similar to that of diamond. It is a good conductor of electricity and heat. The melting point is 2870°C, the boiling point is 6000°C, and the relative density is 15.63 (18°C).Pure tungsten carbide is brittle. If a small amount of titanium, cobalt and other metals are added, the brittleness can be reduced. As tungsten carbide tool steel, titanium carbide, tantalum carbide or their mixtures are often added to improve the antiknock ability.

Application of Tungsten Carbide Powder

-Production of high-performance nanocrystalline or ultra-fine horny alloys, hard surface wear-resistant spraying, petrochemical cracking catalysts; chip-free forming tools; cutting tools; mining fees; nanocomposites (improving hardness, strength and wear resistance); corrosion-resistant coatings layer; wear-resistant coating; corrosion-resistant coating; wear-resistant parts.

- Tungsten carbide powder is mainly used in the production of cemented carbide. In tungsten carbide powder, carbon atoms are embedded in the gaps of the tungsten metal lattice, without destroying the original metal lattice, forming an interstitial solid solution.
