A physical mixture of spherical cast tungsten carbide (QZWC) and nickel based alloy powder, a dark gray spherical like powder.
Spherical cast tungsten carbide has a high HV0.1 hardness of 2700 and good wear resistance; Spherical nickel based alloy powder has good wettability with cast tungsten carbide.
Usage effect: PTA overlay has high hardness, good wear resistance, good fluidity, fast overlay speed, uniform weld layer, low porosity, and excellent impact resistance.
The hardness HRC of PTA overlay can reach 62-67, the wear resistance is 3-10 times that of conventional products, and the service life is 3-5 times that of conventional products.
Application fields:
It can be welded onto low carbon steel, medium carbon steel, low alloy steel, and cast steel parts, used for the manufacturing and repair of vulnerable parts subjected to strong abrasive wear at low, medium, and high levels of impact.
Typical applications include welding and repair of equipment such as mining, oil drilling, mechanical processing, and shield tunneling tools.
