Spherical tungsten powder is a type of metal tungsten powder that has undergone spheroidization treatment, and its microscopic morphology is spherical or nearly spherical. Compared to ordinary amorphous tungsten powder, spherical tungsten powder has the following characteristics:
1. Good fluidity, easy to pour and fill. The small contact surface between spherical particles reduces mutual locking, which is beneficial for improving the fluidity of the powder.
2. Good sintering performance, high density of sintered body. Spherical powders are more densely packed and exhibit good sintering performance during sintering, resulting in high-density sintered bodies.
3. The organization is uniform and free from microscopic defects. After sintering, the spherical powder has a uniform structure and few defects such as pores inside.
4. Good repeatability and easy quality control. Adopting automated processing, each batch of products has good quality repeatability.
5. Small specific surface area and high chemical stability. The spherical structure reduces the specific surface area and improves chemical stability.
6. Good processing performance, suitable for preparing complex shaped components. Various complex shapes can be prepared through methods such as injection molding.
7. Good resistance to high temperature and impact. Spherical shape reduces stress concentration, improves impact resistance and high-temperature stability.
