Molybdenum and iron composed of iron alloy, generally containing 50 to 60% molybdenum, used as an alloy additive for steelmaking. Ferromolybdenum is an alloy of molybdenum and iron. Its main use is in steelmaking as a molybdenum additive. The addition of molybdenum to steel can make the steel have a uniform fine grain organization, and improve the hardenability of steel, which is conducive to the elimination of temper brittleness. In high-speed steels, molybdenum can replace part of the tungsten. Molybdenum is used in conjunction with other alloying elements in the production of stainless steels, heat-resistant steels, acid-resistant steels and tool steels, as well as alloys with special physical properties. The addition of molybdenum to cast iron increases its strength and wear resistance.
Q1: Are you a manufacturer or trading company?
Re: We are a combination of industry and trade. No matter the products we make or trade, highqualityproducts and competitive price is more motto.
