Product Introduction:
A physical mixture of spherical carbide or polyhedral carbide and nickel-based alloy powder, dark gray powder.
Carbides are divided into spherical and irregular shapes, with a high hardness (HV0.1 reaching 1800), good wear resistance; bending strength can reach 3600 MPa; the nickel-based alloy powder is nearly spherical, and has good wetting properties with the carbides. The PTA overlay weld layer has good wear resistance, low porosity, and excellent impact resistance.
Usage Effect:
The PTA overlay weld layer has high hardness, high impact toughness, good wear resistance and corrosion resistance. It is welded quickly, the weld layer is uniform and dense, with low porosity, and can achieve crack-free overlay welding.
The hardness of the PTA overlay weld layer can reach HRC 55-63, the wear resistance is 5-10 times that of conventional products, and the service life is 3-5 times that of conventional products.
Application Fields:
It can be welded on low-carbon steel, medium-carbon steel, low-alloy steel and cast steel parts, and is used for manufacturing and repairing vulnerable parts that endure low, medium and high levels of impact and abrasive wear in various mechanical equipment such as metallurgy, chemical industry, mining tools and equipment, petroleum machinery, tunneling tools, bulldozer equipment, agricultural machinery, etc.
Typical Applications: Overlay welding and repair of wear-prone parts in various mechanical equipment such as metallurgy, chemical industry, mining tools and equipment, petroleum machinery, tunneling tools, bulldozer equipment, agricultural machinery, etc.
