Product Description
Fine tungsten carbide powder, including ultrafine tungsten carbide powder and nano tungsten carbide powder, is prepared through a special process method, with high purity, uniform particle size, and good dispersibility. It is an important raw material for producing hard alloys
1. Tungsten carbide powder (WC) is the main raw material for the production of cemented carbide. Its chemical formula is WC. Its hardness is similar to that of diamond. It is a good conductor of electricity and heat
2. Tungsten carbide powder not only has high hardness, but also has the characteristics of wear resistance, corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance.
3. Melting point of tungsten is 2860 ºC± 50 ºC, boiling point is 6000 ºC, relative density is 15.63 (18 ºC), insoluble in water, strong acid resistance, high hardness and elastic modulus.
4. Pure tungsten carbide is fragile. If a small amount of titanium, cobalt and other metals are added, the brittleness can be reduced. Tungsten carbide, which is used as a steel cutting tool, is often added with titanium carbide, tantalum carbide or their mixture to improve its explosion resistance.
